Handcrafted cabin by a builder of the renowned Lost River State Park cabins and nestled in the trees to offer a true sanctuary in nature. The charming wooden features and thoughtful design details make this cabin a perfect rustic getaway in the woods. Explore over 20 acres of wooden land, replete with a trout pond for catching your dinner! Located a 5 minute drive from Lost River State Park with endless hiking trails, horseback riding, and pool. Perfect for a weekend getaway to relax and unwind.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I do have a 50.00 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs only. It is located just above the entrance to the Smoke Hole Canyon with great fishing, beautiful scenery along the paved country curvy road. You can drive through the canyon and come out on Rt 28 just below the Smoke Hole caverns and gift shop. Then continue to Seneca Rocks and hike the rocks or drive to Nelson Rocks for zip lining.

The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.
