Despite accolades from esteemed international design and travel publications (which it has from Monocle, Dwell, Travel + Leisure and many more), this perfectly designed and laid out home isn’t about pomp; it’s about simplicity and reliance upon the natural environment that surrounds it. That was the point when it, and a handful of others, were built in the mid 1960’s to showcase Northern California’s famed Sea Ranch project —and the way humans might one day find a better way to live with nature.

Cozy Redwood Cottage Near the Mendocino Coast

Our peaceful cottage is nestled among the redwoods, a few miles inland from the Mendocino Coast. High ceilings and skylights make this space feel spacious, offering natural light, and views of the majestic trees. The surrounding community is special, with many residents having lived here for decades, tending their homesteads. On your way in, you are likely to see cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. Deer, coyote, foxes, mountain lions, owls, hawks, vultures, and bears also frequent the area.

Crispin Cottage

A small but cozy cabin which is comfortable, warmed by our kerosene heater in the winter and with a small air conditioner for the heat waves of summer. The sunroom maintained by my sister is one of our guests favorite features. Our property is peaceful, with only my mother, sister and my sister's young grandson living in the two other dwellings on the three acre property. We offer complete privacy for those that prefer it; or for those that enjoy it, my mother loves visiting with our guests.

The Linger LongerRanch is the name that Doc Edwards chose for his Summer home. The Edwards were one of the first families to come from the Bay Area to find peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city. He named the property Linger Longer because this magical ranch would always leave his guests wanting to stay longer. Today its current owners enjoy this same experience for the same reasons. Loft-like, light-filled cabin in a private Forrest with access to lots of trails and our own mind nurturing creek. This cabin is equipped with all the amenities you like to have in your city home. The blazing fast internet helps you to stay connected while you can enjoy privacy, calmness and nature. Besides a full bathroom the cabin features an outdoor shower and the well appointed kitchen even has a dishwasher. Our newest addition: extra office with the peace and privacy for 100% efficiency.

Our rustic wood cabin is nestled among pine trees in the little village of Cobb Mountain, close to Harbin hot springs, Clear Lake, and just north of Napa valley wine country. Enjoy being surrounded by forest while you relax in the hammock or bbq on the deck. Step back in time in the vaulted wood rooms, warm fireplace, modern amenities including A/C and comfy bedding. A short walk to the swimming pool, little stream, general store and cafe. A perfect romantic getaway, or for the whole family!

Historic Baker House available for the first time

As seen in Dwell, Turnbull's Baker House is a Sea Ranch classic Binker Barn resting on 2 acres of redwoods. While it was built in 1968, it's been updated to make sure you have everything you need for a private and relaxing stay: the separate office has monitors and 300+ Mbps internet, the kitchen is fully-equipped, and the garage has a level 2 EV charger and a Peloton. Enjoy the outdoors year-round from the hot tub or the Galanter & Jones heated furniture that overlooks the forest and ocean.
