Dan y Coed means 'under the trees'. Our cottage has nestled under the wooded hillside of Tan yr Allt for 200 years. The cottage is on the outskirts of Llanidloes, a 10 minute walk to town. We pride ourselves on guest satisfaction and the cottage is equipped to a high standard. We welcome all people and well behaved pets (downstairs). Hello and welcome to Glasfryn , a wonderful traditional slate cottage in the lovely Welsh village of Abergynolwyn which is situated in Snowdonia national park and is a UNESCO site. Your home from home has 2 bedrooms, 1 double and a smaller bunkbed room . Downstairs is a living room with a log burner and a kitchen . Outside is a lovely garden with seating and fully enclosed so suitable for a dog . Take a break and unwind in the beautiful Welsh countryside only 10 minutes drive from the sea .

Nestled at the foot of mountain walks and 4 minutes walk from the beach. This former dairy sleeps up to 6 people, also open rear garden and parking. This characterful cottage is oozing with charm but has modern day essentials such as WiFi and Sky TV. There is also a snug which serves as another livingroom/bedroom, perfect for older children or a couple.

There are lots of restaurants/cafes, pubs and supermarkets within a 5-minute walk.

Set within the southern reaches of the Snowdonia National Park, excellent for those walkers visiting the area. Aberdovey is a thriving seaside fishing village with brightly painted houses which seem to cling to the shoreline, and has a history dating back hundreds of years.
