This quaint cosy cottage is purpose built and sits on the Taff Trail in the village of Troedyrhiw, with panoramic views . Less than 1 mile from Bike Park Wales, and 3 miles from Merthyr Tydfil, 9 miles from Brecon Beacons and 22 miles from Cardiff, with the benefit of private parking for 2 vehicles and ample further parking opposite. Also a safe secure alarmed bike shed, suitable for 5 large bikes, covered by CCTV, with a metered heater. AC is pay as you go, which covers the whole cottage.

At the end of a busy day, unwind by the firepit. Our cabins are cosy, practical & dog-friendly - with secure bike/gear storage & awesome facilities.

Edge of Brecon's Beacons, Zipworld Tower, Penyfan, mountain railway, & numerous walking trails & cycle paths. No pets accepted.

Falls Cottage Hot Tub Log Burner Visit Wales

Falls Cottage, a beautiful three bed miners cottage that used to be two separate miners cottages originally built in the 1860s. Now known as “Falls Cottage” since around 1939. It’s set on the bank of the River Taff in mature gardens with close access to the Taff Trail linking Brecon to Cardiff Bay and within walking distance to the train station. This is the perfect cottage to stay if wanting to visit bike park Wales, Zip World and to explore South Wales with its excellent A470 location.

Moy retreat - great for BPW and Taff Trail!

Good sized 3 bed house in the quiet village of Aberfan. 10 minutes drive from Bike Park Wales. Right next to the Taff trail. Own drive way. Welcome to my much loved house in Aberfan. I purchased this with my ex-husband after many trips to BPW Wales, planning to let it out then retire in 20 years or so! Nothing has changed except I now have no husband (yay)! Improvements ongoing which is reflected in price. Pets are welcome at £20 per pet. Please make sure to clean up after them!

Our newly renovated home is in Troedyrhiw, outside Merthyr Tydfil. It sleeps 5, with a king size bed and triple bunk sleeper. The living and dining area has Sky and Netflix, the kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom has a large walk-in shower. Side access leads to a large secure garden. Great road links to Brecon Beacons, Swansea and Cardiff. A bus stop and the train station are within a few minutes walk. This is a perfect base to enjoy everything that Wales has to offer!

Old Miners Cottage, Abercanaid

This bright and modern old miners cottage is a self contained home which includes 3 bedrooms and a practical bathroom on the first floor. Meanwhile the ground floor contains a kitchen and a large living/dining area with lots of light. The garden includes a lock up area for 6 bikes, where padlocks can be added as well as a place to sit to have a drink and relax. WIFI is FREE! We are perfectly located for Bike Park Wales, Brecon Beacons, Merthyr Rising, etc.
