The garage bunkie which has a king bed and 3 piece bathroom. The main cabin with 3 beds and 2 baths and the boathouse bunkie which features a king size bed and is cantilevered over the lake. Decorated with a beachy boho meets mid-century vibe, it's cozy and airy at the same time! The private deck offers the perfect place to listen to the birds and read a good book. The Nook is on our 1 acre, lakefront property, alongside our home. We hope you love it here as much as we do!

Big Bear Cabin - Modern Creekside A-frame

Come visit our A-frame cabin in the woods on Eels Creek! I built this place myself over 18 months with some generous help from my friends and supervision from wife (in the form of naps). The area is known for its snowshoe and cross-country ski trails. At night we welcome you to cozy up by the outdoor firepit and enjoy the stars. Lots of firewood is provided with your rental. In the warmer months there is lots of hiking and paddling to do.

Fully renovated on Scott's Vacation House Rules in 2022, and aired on May 2023. Just a two-hour drive from Toronto, the cabin is the perfect place to relax year-round. Sandy Lake is the jewel of the Kawarthas, perfect for paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming in the summer, and skating and exploring in the winter.

The Nest on Irondale River in Geocaching Capital

The Nest is a one room cabin with a screened in porch. There is a queen bed with sheets, queen pillows and comforter. Relax by the river or take out a kayak and paddle upstream to the rapids. After a BBQ dinner, enjoy smores at the large campfire pit. Meander the trails throughout the property and just be. Everything is here for a simple but soul restoring getaway. There is no shower and the toilet is in an outhouse.
