Enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious patio with panoramic views of the Huron Mountains and Little Traverse Bay. Maybe spot a Bald Eagle fishing or flying to its nearby nest. For those relaxing summer nights, sit on the large deck and watch the moon rise or roast marshmallows on a bonfire while you listen to the waves crashing. 2 kayaks and life jackets available for use.

Our peaceful 5-bedroom lakefront home is 4 miles from Houghton and is conveniently located near the airport, Michigan Tech, Mont Ripley (3 miles) and Mount Bohemia (38 miles). Snowmobile trails are only 1/3rd of a mile away and you can ride your sled from here. Enjoy spectacular views of the lake, kayaking, and campfires on the patio. Our area is full of history and charm. Come visit! Parking for 3 trucks, plus trailers. Please Note: We charge $10 per night per person over 2 people.

Rest, relax and unwind. Welcome to Simply Superior Cottage located on beautiful Lake Superior on Big Traverse Bay. Private sandy beach along with a beautiful sunrise. Cottage has just been completely remodeled, along with a large enclosed sun room. Your just steps away from a dive into refreshing Lake Superior, sauna allows for a bit more heat to help that dive along. Cottage is located 2 miles from a boat launch, with snowmobile trails nearby, Mt Bohemia ski resort is 19 miles away.

Enjoy a peaceful stay on Rice Lake, in the amazing Keweenaw Peninsula. Our cozy cabin sits on the shore of Rice Lake, and is the perfect getaway for a couple or small family. The cabin has everything you'll need to enjoy a relaxing weekend, week, or longer. Fish for Northern and Walleye from the dock or our canoe. Enjoy breathtaking views and lots of wildlife. Only 25 minutes from downtown Houghton and Hancock, 15 minutes from historic Calumet, and less than an hour from Mount Bohemia.

High Rock Cabin- 200 ft to trail 17! Close to town

Welcome to our “High Rock Cabin”. This centrally located tiny house is right by the trails. Set in the woods, but only a couple miles from Hancock/Houghton! One main floor bedroom with queen bed, and a loft with two full beds. Please be aware that there is a spiral staircase to access the loft. No smoking in cabin. Will be a $250 fee if smoking is detected. Also, pets must be approved by owners. Will entail an additional pet fee. There is plenty of parking, enough room for a trailer!

Two bedroom cottage, nestled in the stunning Keweenaw Peninsula, is on 330 foot of lakeshore and surrounded by forest and nature. 50 foot dock recently added. This peaceful paradise awaits your arrival, located just 15 minutes from Houghton and MTU. Sleeps 6 total. We are approximately 4.8 miles from the Dollar Bay Snow Mobile Trailhead, Great snowshoeing around the property as well. cottage is on a shared driveway with owners. About 55 minutes from Mount Bohemia.

Right on the snowmobile trail, and convenient for all of the Copper Country’s activities: snowmobiling, skiing, biking, touring historical sites, Michigan Tech, etc. Entire upstairs of a detached garage. Private entrance. Well insulated for sound and comfort. Only 3 1/2 miles to Houghton/Hancock, and close to the airport. Trailer parking available. Crib and high chair available upon request.

What it offers: One queen bed, one sofa sleeper, parking, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, WIFI, Roku TV, coffee maker, 3/4 bathroom, a fantastic view, nestled on Pike Bay, 20 gallon hot water heater. Instant snowmobile access to the lake in winter. Air conditioning in summer and 2 wall furnaces for warmth in winter. What it doesn't have: Oven, automatic dishwasher, laundry facilities.

The Retro Roost: Walk to MTU and Downtown Houghton

- Walking distance to MTU campus, Jim's grocery store, downtown Houghton, and 20 miles of ski/bike/hike trails - Retro, cozy and private one-bed/bath unit with a kitchenette and attached garage Park in the garage and walk directly into the unit! Hosts Adam and Jana live upstairs with their family and dogs. There is a cot, and a fold out couch in addition to a queen size bed, for extra sleepers, if needed.
