The Artist Cabin is a small one room cabin located on the AVAGUE gallery property in Lac La Belle, Michigan. AVAGUE is a visionary art gallery open to the public. The Artist Cabin is a place for mature art-minded individuals and couples that are looking for a lakefront lodging experience. Rotating art exhibits will be featured on the walls of the cabin throughout the year. This studio cabin requires a walk across the street to use your private bathroom. Please do not book if this is an issue.

Located on the Michigan Tech XC Ski Trails, you can ski out the back door. Take a short ungroomed trail to the classic ski trails, or walk down the road to the Mill Road TrailHead to access premier skate skiing trails. We have a ski waxing station in the garage, including a table, vise, waxing iron, scrapers and brush) so you can wax your skis. Just bring your preferred wax. Lastly, three sets of Tubbs snowshoes come with the home. Enjoy winter right from your backyard in a home away from home.

Dockside Resort, on Lake Superior, has an active working marina with an on-site launch. We have sandy access to the water, a channel deep enough for diving, and docks to hang out on. Picnic area. Ski right out the door on groomed trails, and we also have a one kilometer skijoring trail. .We offer ski and snowshoe rentals as well in winter, and canoes and sea kayaks in the summer. This historic 1916 built home was built in the shadows of the Osceola #13 mine shaft. Enjoy views of the mine from the comfort of the living room. This home was extensively remodeled in the last year, with all new furniture 03/23. It boasts 3 large bedrooms and 1 full bath. Large yard for events and parking. The back of the property is accessible to the main trail system. It is a few hundred feet away from the nearest gas station so filling up snowmobiles, ATVS/UTV's is a breeze.
