This is a large restored mansion that used to belong to Busby Berkely, now a spiritual center. They give tours for free, if you call ahead. There's a lovely walking labyrinth, and contemplation garden. Decent cafe with an affordable buffet as well

You'd never think there would be such a magnificent mansion and serenity in the heart of LA, but here it is. This is truly a hidden gem that I recommend visiting if you are tired of the touristy places.

Right around the corner, a 3 minute walk. Definitely an interesting experience. The restoration of the property and attention to detail is a sight to be seen along with a very peaceful, serene garden that is completely unexpected in a very positive way. I don't believe it's open on Mondays. Check their website for specific times they are open to the public.
