Only minutes away is this amazing Shire-town with all original buildings, and so many stories. There was only one hanging at the goal (jail) and that was very controversial. Hear about the original families, look at, hear about, and touch artifacts and antique tools. A gem of a place!

Just around the corner from The Hopewell Rocks, The Albert County Museum is a grouping of 8 original buildings housing the history of the early settlers of "Shiretown". There is currently an interactive exhibit the trenches of WWI and the local contribution to that.

County courthouse, 1845 jailhouse, community hall, blacksmith shop, taxation office, and records office. Site of the trail and hanging of the last man executed in New Brunswick.
