The Kings Arms is my favourite place to go to for a Sunday Roast without question. It's in the countryside situated in a beautiful location and very near the Thomas Hardy Monument.

Friendly & great pub food. 1/2 walk over the fields & dog friendly Left out ofthe drive & follow the road under the bridge. Cross the road at the pub & take a left. On your right is a metal gate. Walk through and walk into the meadow. Keep walking & cross the road into Mill Farm. Follow pathway and into the fields. Walk diagonal along to Thornford. Pub is right after the church & along the road on your left. Always ask a local. Lovely friendly villagers.

Great food, great service and it's just across the road.

Good for those who want to watch sport. Child friendly and has a games room. It does not serve food. Function room available. Wheel chair accessible.
