Hatcher Pass Recreation area is amazing for sightseeing, hiking, rock climbing, biking and more. It also has Independence Mine you can tour.

One of our favorite spots in Alaska! Stop for breathtaking views and there are several brilliant hikes within the pass!

Hatcher Pass is great for hiking as there are multiple hiking trails in addition to just meandering around on the mountain. Independence Mine is awesome for history and great views of the Valley.
