Home to fabulous views of Edinburgh- without the competing with the crowds you might encounter at Carlton or the Sailsbury Crags. Also the site of an ancient hillfort, perhaps the rivals of Edin who founded the city?

Not a simple park, more an experience of the countryside within striking distance of the city. You can't hear any city sounds when you are walking through the wooded ravine next to a tumbling burn. Take one of the many paths upwards and come out on top of Blackford Hill for panoramic views of the City.

Beautiful walking paths through the woods, around the lake and up the hill. Incredible views from the top of Blackford Hill.

A lovely Nature Reserve with great walking and running trails, and great views of Edinburgh from the top of Blackford Hill. The entrance on Braid Road is only 5 minutes away from the flat.
