Officially the Guinness Book of Records oldest pub. People come from across the world to visit and sample some of the craic,pints and their own whiskey. Beside Athlone Castle, the Shannon and a very popular area with many pubs and food options close by.

Irelands oldest bar - definitely worth a trip when in Athlone. Great atmosphere and live music most nights.
