The venue is owned by Guillermo Uribe, and he has created a space where anyone can enjoy live music performances, dancers, art exhibits and delicious drinks. The whole vibe in here is very sexy. There's plush velvet wallpaper and black chandeliers. Sometimes they have burlesque dance shows. They have a happy hour every day where they offer $5 sangria and craft beers, and their free Karaoke Thursdays are amazing.

The 1st pocho bar of its kind! Eastside Luv (aka ESL) was established in 2006 by el pata de perro Guillermo Rangel Uribe as a place we could all celebrate the uniqueness of being Mexican-American in East Los Angeles. Funky spot with lucha libre posters & velvet wallpaper boasts cabaret nights & DJ-spun dance floor. Open from 8pm to 2am Wed-Sat.
