Nice outdoor patio on the river, good variety of drinks. Taco Tuesday & Thursday specials. The salsas are awesome!

One of our favorites for tacos and margaritas! Only a 10-15min walk with a great view of the Milwaukee River. I recommend their Paloma margarita and the Fried Avocado taco!

A popular mexican spot that has more "trendier" items. Definitely don't go there if you are looking for more traditional mexican. While you're waiting for a table, go across the street to Finks for some drinks!

Perhaps I'm biased because I worked for Belair, but man does this place have great specials! On Tuesdays and Thursdays, they have select $2 tacos (if you get 3 or more, you get free rice and beans as well), $2 mystery tequila shots, $2 Modelo and Dos Equis drafts, $2 Tecate cans, and $2 Modelo cans. While they may not be "authentic" Mexican cuisine, they provide a large menu with plenty of options made from fresh ingredients. Just be sure to plan accordingly; they do not take reservations and can go on a very long wait. Or, you could always snag a spot from the bar.

This is their original location It has an unforgettable design including a roof that looks like an ocean wave, and the riverfront patio is probably the best happy hour spot in the whole city.
