Harrington Beach State Park is a 715-acre Wisconsin state park on the shore of Lake Michigan in the Town of Belgium. In addition to a mile-long beach, the park contains a white cedar swamp surrounding a 26-acre lake that used to be a stone quarry. (Wikipedia). Interesting "ruins" of buildings used for the quarry community. $ day use fee.

Harrington Beach State Park is another great place in addition to Kohler-Andre State Park for Beach lovers and hikers! Harrington Beach Sate Park is a 15 minute drive from the home.

Several miles of lovely easy walking or jogging through woods, around the quarry, a pond, and/or across a bit of prairie; fun beach too.

Nice hiking trails, multiple options through prairies, wooded areas or around the small quarry lake. Does require entrance fee (by car).
