Ludlow is famous for it's castle and food scene. There are lots of great independent shops, as well as some great chain shops like White Stuff and Oska, and a market. There is also a lovely holistic clininc for massages, steam room, acupuncture etc. It makes for a great day out.

Bar
“Close to Ludlow centre, converted railway sidings shed. Enjoy a decent local beer and see where and how its brewed, as the tuns and the brewery process are in clear view from the bar areas. Good venue for live music”

“Excellent museum with links to Darwin, as well as hidden away cafe and free exhibition. Architecture alone makes this worth a visit. ”

“"Ludlow Farmshop is a one-of-a-kind food shopping experience where farming, food production and retailing come together to create an award-winning environment. We are part of the Earl of Plymouth’s Oakly Park Estate which extends to approximately 8,000 acres of Shropshire countryside of which we farm in hand 6,500 acres. All of our beef, lamb and Gloucester Old Spot pork comes from our farm along with the milk used to make our cheese and dairy products. We have a herd of wild fallow deer roaming the Estate and a bountiful supply of wild game at certain times of the year. We are passionate about local food, with 80% of the food we sell coming from Shropshire and its surrounding counties. Ludlow Farmshop is designed to not only sell food but to produce it and over half of our products are made in our production units that surround the shop floor. These are visible through glass windows that allow you to see our artisan producers making your food by hand."”
