Great for fun and food for the whole family. See the big ferris weel and many fun rides, enjoy the green park and the great restaurants. A real must do!
Viennas amusement park. Very nice and a lot of fun, there's no entry so you can just walk around. Also there is a lot of nature and beautiful walking routes there. Very near to the flat.
The Prater has got everything: a huge Park, sports, the traditional Vienna amusement park, ice cream etc. You gotta check it out!
It is simply a must-have to visit the "Wiener Prater" for entertainment and fun. I love great activities like the roller coaster and many other attactions inside there.

“The Donauinsel is a small island in the Danube river, which resulted when the river was regulated in the last century. Today it is a paradise for cyclists, joggers, inline skaters as well as locals who just want to hang out and slow down from the hectic city life. Tourists can rent a bike and take a tour on the island, which is great fun with family and friends. As the island is very flat it is very comfortable to ride a bike there. A great event happens every year in the summer holidays. Then the Donauinsel turns into the biggest free-of-charge open air festival of Europe. A must-see in Vienna. Special tip Good to know: Free Wifi on the whole islands. Nearest underground stations: "Donauinsel" (U1), "Neue Donau" (U6)”

“On Naschmarkt you find all kinds of fresh produce - it is where Viennese people go to shop for food if they do some special cooking. There are also several restaurants and bars for brunch etc. Close to Kettenbrückengasse there is a flea market on Saturday mornings form 7:00 - 2:00. ”
