Highly recommended, just 6 miles from us through country lanes, well worth the drive. Excellent hosts, food and drinks.

This pub has everything! Amazing food, huge garden, wonderful landlady Tracey and talented chef Steve. The menu is great. Something for everyone. Open 7 nights a week. Booking is always advised as they are always busy.

"The Marquis offers lunch & evening meals in the cosy bars every day, from 12.00pm until 2.00pm & 6.00pm until 9.00pm (9.00pm Sundays). Complimented by a wide range of Bridport brewed Palmers real ales - Copper, IPA & Dorset Gold, Carlsberg, Somerset Thatcher's Gold Cider, Dorset Applebee cider, Guinness & a well chosen wine list, several being served by the glass or bottle. All ingredients are where possible sourced locally from our friends & produced in our kitchen.
