You won't find much nature here, but it's a great place to go for a run or bike ride.

Rent a bike and head down to the national mall. Enjoy lots of murals and public art along the way on the best bike trail in the city!

Great bike trail / public park that connects Brookland/Catholic University with NOMA. Access to Rhode Island Ave. and NOMA metro stops.

This lovely eight-mile stretch extends from Silver Spring to Union Station, and once connected the nation’s capital to the main line of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. It's perfect for beginners because the Capital Bikeshare program has locations at both its ending and starting points -- so if you're feeling super-spent after biking one way, you can always just hop on the Metro to get back to where you started.

Good route for jogging. There is an access point directly across from the NoMa Metro entrance on M Street.
