Fulham Palace was the episcopal retreat of the Bishops of London. The present building was built in Tudor times, with later significant Georgian and Victorian additions. The Palace sits in beautiful gardens - this used to be the residence for the Bishop of London. It is surrounded by Bishops Park which runs from Craven Cottage (home to Fulham FC) all the way along the Thames to Putney Bridge.
