If you want to try to eat at Christiania. Food is fine. Special atmosphere because of the history of the place. Live music downstairs on weekends.

It's actual possible to go to a pretty good restaurant in Christiania. The food is decent, but go if you want to see an alternative part of Christiania and take in the feel of the old warehouses that have been converted to restaurants and concert places. You can't enter from Prinsessegade, but have to make right when you come in through the Main entrance.

They serve really really delicious food. It is located above a nightclub/bar so to get there you have to go up these stairs with lots of graffiti to the top floor. www.spiseloppen.dk

This is my favorite music venue in town. It’s located in the Freetown of Christiania in an old military building with lots of charm. Concerts rarely start before 22.00 even if the program says so. It’s very down-to-earth, and your literally face to face with the performing artist. Check out the program pasted up in the streets or on www.loppen.dk
