Offical Palace and still in use for formal visits. In the old days it was a city hall, courthouse. It has a lot of history. Worth a visit.

It is here where our king and queen stay if they have to be in Amsterdam. Originally a building of the people of Amsterdam, now for the royals. It is not always open, but if it is: worth while to take a look

The Royal Palace of Amsterdam. It still keeps its state function as a palace when the Dutch Royals visit it but in the everyday it is open to the public.
