For something fun and different, check out the Penny Lane Museum on Broadway. It’s free, and people are always surprised at the variety, quality and number of Beatles items on display. If you’re a fan, you should definitely check it out.

PENNY LANE, Beatles Museum is the brainchild of a long time Dunedin resident and humanitarian who considers the time is right to share his eclectic collection of Beatles memorabilia covering several decades dating back to 1961. From Yellow Submarine paraphernalia to Beatles puppets and pins. This exhibit of Beatles memorabilia is curated by Colin Bissett who grew up in Liverpool, England, where the Beatles started, and who enjoyed seeing performances at the Cavern Club and the Casbah Coffee Club in the early sixties before they became a world-wide phenomenon.
