Great place to mine for gems! Great store on site as well. They will make jewelry for you if you find any precious gems in your bucket.

Gem mountain gemstone mine is a Fun and nearby attraction where are you can choose different sizes of buckets to dig through, you can choose to buy a rock from the gift shop, or you can go on the Blacklight tour, which is only available at certain times of the year.

Because it's fun! And you might find a treasure. My aunt found a nice piece of amethyst and had it mounted.
