The Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park is a two acre park in Historic Downtown Wilson. The new two-acre public sculpture park is a destination for cultural travelers looking for world class, one of a kind art.

A very unique visual experience! Located in downtown Wilson, NC (near some amazing local restaurants and micro-breweries)…all of the “whirligigs” were created by Volos Simpson and have been restored to their former glory and arranged to show off their charm.

The WhirlyGig’s are downtown in Wilson. It’s like a park area where you can look at all the WhirlyGig ‘s. If it’s a little bit windy the WhirlyGig’s spin around and they look really cool. If you have kids they will enjoy seeing these and if you’re an adult you’ll still enjoy it.
