The BEST bagels ever, anywhere! No kidding, better than anywhere west of Brooklyn, for sure. Sorry NY'ers, you should try them. Not bready, they are boiled and chewey! We were at the counter on the day they opened, 1978... In the shopping plaza near Whole Foods.

Locally owned, this is a popular spot on the way downtown to grab a quick bite of breakfast. It’s commonly referred to as “the bagel shop.” Go early, they run out of bagels quickly!
