With its award-winning sparkling wine a visit to Langham is a must. They offer tours, tastings & have a yummy cafe. Pick up a picnic from the cafe and take a wander in the extensive grounds to find the perfect spot to enjoy your treats.

If you’re a wine buff or simply enjoy a good glass of fizz, you won’t want to miss a visit to the Langham Wine Estate. This award-winning winery produces its sparkling wines using only grapes grown here at the vineyard at Crawthorne (between Blandford and Dorchester). You can join a guided tour of the vineyard and winery - given by one of the winemakers - followed by a tutored tasting. Or wander amongst the vines yourself on a self-guided tour; information points around the vineyard tell the story of the site and the techniques employed to grow the premium quality grapes. Alternatively, simply enjoy a glass or two of delicious bubbly with a bite to eat in the Hare and Bramble vineyard café, housed in the old milking parlour dating form the 19th century and full of character and charm. Open generally Tues - Sat, 10am-4pm; and in July to September, also on Sunday. There are also special events - see their website for details.

Explore the vineyards of Dorset. Even if you don't like wine, the cafe is lovely and the views are fantastic. Really warm and friendly atmosphere, very informative and I would highly recommend a visit for all!
