Osterøy museum is a folk museum beautifully located at Gjerstad. The museum buildings and collections inform visitors about building traditions and way of life in the villages north of Bergen. In the main building you can see exhibitions on themes related to fjord culture; local crafts, small industry, textiles or art exhibitions featuring local artists. During the summer season you can also try the local specialty stompekake on Sundays . Open on request.
