New England scenic spot. Perfect place to take photos all year long. My favorite spot in Sudbury to share with visitors.

A relaxing place to park and sit on a blanket, or just drive by. Really beautiful... Part of the Longfellow Wayside Inn, a National Historic Site, this is a replica of an early 1740s grist mill that is still used for grinding grains for use and sale at the Inn.

This is a great place! There is a lot of history here it was the poet Longfellow's favorite place. It is also one of mine. As a little girl my dad used to take us to the old mill and it's streams and he would send us in telling us to "look for the silver!" I am ashamed to say at about 6 years old we would steal people's wishes to buy candy cuz my dad was too cheap to buy it for us.... Lot's of nature beautiful and scenic near an amazing old fashioned candy store. Yes it is still there even after all these years. New England is slow when it comes to change. Which is not always a bad thing.
