Wonderful historic museum, opened in 2018. Lots of history on the Civil War, Route 66, Indian histor, and unique Spribgfield history. Very affordable as well.

This museum that includes a section on Route 66, Wild Bill Hickock, the history of the region and so much more! Voted "Best New Attraction" in 2019 by USA Today.

The square in Springfield hosts a lot of events. There is even a marker on the square where Wild Bill Hickok and Davis Tutt were in a shoot out!
