Hida Kokubunji is located at the heart of Takayama City. There is a large ginkgo tree which is over 1200 years old. In addition this, three-storied pagoda and large bell tower gate should be impressed. The main hall was built during the Muromachi era (1333-1573) , it's one of the Hida's best temple.
