Famously visited by the Queen. Beautifully located by the River in the Forest of Bowland. Withholds a good reputation for superb food, local ales and fantastic views. Nice outdoor terrace a the back.

Although this old coaching Inn is about forty minutes away, it is well worth the visit. The surroundings are spectacular and the food and service is the second to none. A definite must!

Great food in a beautiful hotel full of character set on the Duchy estate now belonging to King Charles it has been said that this was one of the the Queens favourite places
