Ash Hollow is a treasure trove of historic goodies. You can check out the prehistoric mastadons, rhinoceros, and mammoths that used to roam these lands. Dismal River people, Apache native americans, and settlers from the Oregon trail and California trail have used this cave and natural springs for thousands of years! You can still see the ruts from the covered wagons at Windlass Hill! Enjoy other activities such as hiking, picnicking and other special events year round.
