Much to see and do, including an ancient Native American turtle mound nearly 50 feet high.
Totally undeveloped seashore - this is wild Florida. Early in the morning, you never know what land animal you might see! Get close to launch pads at drive pull-offs along the way to beach. Swim!
State Park with small entry fee, close to cruise ports. No restaurants or anything but you might see seaturtle tracks and nesting sites in season. Sometimes you'll see a washed up man-of-war (please do not touch beached jellies) and there are always little crabs and clams. Driving trails are…
Parks, wildlife hiking areas, and the unspoiled beach. Be aware that this place is rustic! Bring your own food and drinks. And, leave only your footprints!
Stunning beach. Untouched by development. My favorite beach for solitude and peace and quiet.
National Park with scenic drive private entry to amazingly clean (and quiet) beach
Florida untouched. A wildlife sanctuary and a home to many threatened animals seeking refuge.
Love the privacy and no cars are allowed on the beach! Parking spots are limited, so during the busy seasons, get there early to claim your spot!
