The Mary C. has something for everyone. Becky's Kitchen for "lunch and learn", live music and theater productions in the Trent Lott Theater, the Ocean Springs History Museum, and the Duckett Gallery - all under one roof.

The Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center of Arts and Education is housed in a landmark 1927 public school building. It features performing, culinary and visual art events and collections for exhibitions and educational programs highlighting the history of the area. Check the website for upcoming events at www.themaryc.org They have some of the most unique art exhibitions at the Mary C; from legos, history, pottery, paintings, and sculptures. Performances in the theatre range from opera to the Delta Blues; this is a place with something for everyone. I was a Julia helping in "Becky's Kitchen" assisting in cooking classes and dinners offered for individuals and groups. That was so much fun

The Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center is a re-purposed high school from the 1920s. A beautiful building filled with art and history. There is a theatre which hosts film festivals, musicians, and thespians and a culinary cafe with a chef that cooks up special treats and offers cooking classes. Be sure to see the Duckett Gallery's current exhibit and visit the history museum upstairs.
