The granddaddy of Maine breweries opened a tasting room last summer, offering a rotating selection of its English-style beers in 5-ounce and 10-ounce pours. A one barrel pilot system has even been rolling out experiments. Summer hours are Monday through Saturday, noon to 7 p.m. Brewery tours start at 2 p.m. and go 20-30 minutes. Call to reserve a spot.
