The M32 is situated on the small "Mönchsberg" mountain with a great view over the old town and the Salzach river. It's more expensive, but the view is stunning.

Great view of the city, wonderful terrace for the warmer months with great breakfast etc. Below is the modern museum and you can walk above the crowds to the fortress Hohensalzburg!

On top of the Mönchsberg next to the Museum der Moderne, the M32 offers probably the most amazing view of Salzburg from its large terrace. Great to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you're not in a hurry, you can walk up there from Mülln. It's not that far.
