Situated in the heart of ‘Down-a-long’ in the old fishing quarter of St Ives. The mermaid is one of the towns oldest and most popular family owned restaurants. With an extensive menu offering the finest locally caught seafood. Great takeaway paella 🥘 on offer during the busy summer months.

Our favourite for dinner. Booking essential in advance. Lovely fish and tonnes of character, the kids love it too. We also love their Paella and Beer for £10 available for takeaway through a hatch from 6pm until sold out. Get there at 6 as some nights its gone by 6.20..

Food is outstanding, especially if you like seafood or a good steak. A family run business, you will need to book. Evening is best.
