Great views! A good pit stop, maybe a little hike for a leg stretch as well. (Marmora Mine Trail somewhere around here, I'm not sure I've actually found it)

A few minutes out of town, with a beautiful scenic view, and a little history of the town! Free parking available.

Today the water pumps have fallen silent and the pit is estimated to be filled with 656 feet of water and officially classified as a lake.

Cool historic site. Large open pit mine filled with water. History plaque full of history. 30 minutes there view and back.
