If wine tasting takes you close to Penn Yan or Geneva, this little ice cream stand is well worth a visit. Sample a "flight" of frozen custards, exquisitely flavored with local ingredients. Watch the antics of their many ducks, whose eggs form the basis of the recipe, while enjoying your treat.

Homemade custard from the farm's duck eggs. Seasonal flavors. Organic ingredients. Fresh baked daily chocolate chip cookies and waffle cones. What's not to love.

“Seneca Farms is a local favorite. The ice cream here is all home made using locally sourced cream. It is family owned and operated and also offers fried chicken and corn fritters. They are only open seasonally, so be sure to check their hours. But this one is a must see. Most nights, the line is out the door (even if it rains). They do have a drive thru - the first one in the area, but it is only for the ice cream. No stay at the lake is complete without a stop at Seneca Farms!”
