延平郡王祠，又名開山王廟或鄭成功廟，位於臺灣臺南市中西區，為清治時期最早的官祀鄭成功紀念祠，其前身為民間所建的開山王廟，臺灣日治時期曾改名為開山神社，是日人在臺最早設置的神社，也是二次大戰前日本海外神社中唯一是從廟宇改為神社的特例。想了解鄭成功可以來看看

建於清同治年間，奉祀台灣開山始祖鄭成功及其部將，為台灣的重要古蹟。佔地9400餘坪，庭園修築風格莊嚴典雅，是台灣少見的「福州式」廟宇建築。祠中保存為數眾多的楹聯，包括沈葆禎手書，歷史文物豐富。 English Introduction： In 1661, Koxinga successfully drove out the Dutch. Following his death the next year, Tainan residents erected the temple to commemorate his spirit in fighting off the Dutch and reclaim the territory.

祠中保存為數眾多的楹聯，包括沈葆楨手書，可說是珍貴歷史文物豐富；祠堂右邊的台南市「民族文物館」，1樓主要陳列展示先民生活相關的史前文物，2樓館藏豐富台南歷史文物，包括鄭成功、沈葆楨的畫像與墨蹟，也有展示當年先民的日常生活用品，以介紹當時生活起居狀況。For a shrine to a war hero, the Zheng Chengong Shrine is amazingly serene. It is flanked by a lovely garden and plum trees (one of which was reportedly planted by Zheng Chengong himself) grow in the back of the main hall. The shrine is itself a great museum with tons of information on the man and the founding of the city.

明永曆百姓便建廟祭祀延平郡王鄭成功此時為民間私廟，乾隆、道光都有重修的紀錄。清同治牡丹社事件清廷派欽差大臣沈葆楨來臺。沈葆楨後上疏追諡鄭成功光緒元年朝廷准奏。在日治時期時鄭成功因具有日本人血統受到日人敬重，將鄭成功廟改為「開臺神社」，將清朝的延平郡王祠改為「開山神社」並增建了日式的拜殿與鳥居。大正三年開山神社進行大規模改建，保留原建築增建與改建原有建築。改建後的開山神社正殿與偏殿仍為中國傳統建築。
