A local market filled with friendly local marketeers. It is great to pick up beautiful and affordable souvenirs and other goodies. Only a 8 minute drive from the unit.

Right next to the Pompey Slavery and Emancipation Museum (ignore airbnb's location marker) there is a small market that is the last bastion of hand-made, high quality Bahamian goods - the old straw market having been unfortunately flooded with cheap Chinese products. This is one of very, very few places I would recommend a guest visit for a nice souvenir or gift.
