It is a great modern art museum. I also recommend you to go to the cafe shop on the 4th floor. If it is sunny they have a lovely terrace. Food is actually good!

SFMOMA rebuilt and reopened their museum 2 years ago, tripling their size. My French cousins were very impressed with the architecture, the art and beauty of the space. Very fine museum gift shop for cultured San Francisco souvenirs. Be sure to try their rooftop cafe.

Just brillant, even if you are not too keen with Modern Art, this museum is very nice. Munch exhibit for the moment

Great exhibitions, always changing. And across the road is Yerba Buena park and the Metreon. Three blocks from Westfield Mall
