Alaska Aviation Museum sits right on the Largest Seaplane base in the World, Lake Hood. Great museum with plenty of Alaskan History to look at.

Not only is this an interesting museum, it’s by a busy floatplane lake. Great place to get a sense of Alaska’s massive general aviation sector.

If you are into flying or aviation history, this is a cool place to check out. It's also located right on Lake Hood, which is an excellent place to watch flood planes take off and land.
