Mon Pigeon is a little off the beaten path just past Echoland. It is known for it's delicious baked goods, including a wide variety of cakes. Perhaps what it is most famous for, is its two very friendly mascots-two massive golden retrievers who may greet you as you walk in the door.

That's another really nice cafe close to our bnb (5 min. walk). It's the perfect place to relax and read a book. They have a wide selection of cakes as well as sandwiches and breads and they have decaf coffee, which isn't offered usually in Japan. One can also get delicious pizzas.
