Drive thru very pretty village of Wayford about five miles from cottage "over the top" and find magical woods full of 19th C. imported rhododendrons and hidden walks. Pick up farm eggs on lane.

Beautiful little woods with a circular walk. Amazing bluebells in spring. Lots of fairy doors, kids love this and not too taxing, take 30-40 mins.
