This is a spectator beach. its not called neck break beach for nothing.. Watch some crazy boogie boarders do some crazy things. Do not try this

Also called Sandy’s or Break-neck Beach”, as it causes more injuries per visitor than any other beach on Oahu. Immensely popular among experienced local bodyboarders and bodysurfers. Don’t recommend for swimming but it’s a pretty area to stop. Lock your car doors.

Check out the big waves and body surfers. Don't go in the water. It is a place for people who understand the tides and shorebreaks. Lifeguards will single you out and tell you get out of the water.
