Located about 10 miles down the road, Santee State Park is a perfect outing for those looking to be with nature. Many trails to choose from, all different skill levels. Our favorite is the 7 mile bike/walking trail, and the Sink Hole Trail (easy, good for kids but look for gators!) There’s so much history here too! The park offers boating, hiking, camping, birding, canoeing and kayaking.
