This is a CALIFORNIA State Park with beautiful blue-green waters of Lake Tahoe. Lots to do and see, make this a full day trip. Pick up a lotto ticket before heading back to Nevada if you are feeling lucky.

This is the historic home at Emerald Bay on the lake. You can hike down and take a tour. One of the most famous sights on the lake.

Approximately 15 minutes south of Thunder Lodge, this is the most photographed place in the United States! Emerald Bay State Park is a World Class destination with a one mile hiking trail to the lake at the bottom and tours of Vikingholm.

This is an absolute must-see if you are traveling to South Lake Tahoe (even for a day). It is the perfect thing to do if you have a few hours to look around. You can stop at many miradors and see the most scenic views that Tahoe has to offer.

The most photographed site in Lake Tahoe. Hike the Rubicon for spectacular views of Big Blue. Kayak rentals and an old mansion with daily tours. Easy hike to Eagle Falls. Access to Desolation Wilderness.
